The cheapest accommodation is primarily CROUS student residences, for which application depends on the student’s Social File (Dossier social étudiant - DSE ) and joint application for accommodation.

Also, shared rooms and shared accommodation are generally cheaper than single studios.
Finally, accepting accommodation that is not immediately close to the école can have a big impact on your annual accommodation budget.
